It is important that you read the information contained on this page as it describes how our third party delivery partner will deliver our goods to you.

Our standard delivery area is to addresses on mainland England, Wales and Scotland. Orders for delivery to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channels Islands or any other islands or area outside of the above stated standard delivery area cannot be processed through our online shop and need to be discussed with our sales team. If we accept an order for delivery outside our standard delivery area, you will be required to pay any additional delivery charges, import duties or other taxes incurred, as we will not be responsible for paying them.

Delivery costs are inclusive of carriage and VAT unless otherwise stated.

Orders are normally dispatched for delivery within 5 working days of receipt of payment to our bank account and are made by our 3rd party pallet delivery network partner. Deliveries normally arrive between 8am and 6pm on weekdays and are strictly to the kerb side. We do not offer timed deliveries.

If you have any questions, please either WhatsApp a message to our Sales Team, or call them on 01726-71198 (available Monday to Friday between 7.30am to 5.00pm).

NOT A HIAB

Deliveries are not normally made by a truck with a HIAB (crane) so off-loading will be by a manual pallet truck. If a HIAB delivery vehicle is required, the most cost effective solution is for us to deliver to a HIAB company close to your location and for them to trans-ship to your delivery address. This may incur additional delivery costs and should be discussed with us in advance of completing the order. Please note that the delivery will NOT be on a Hiab vehicle, so cannot be craned off. All deliveries are made with a tail lift offload. If you are ordering a large quantity (10 tonnes or more) we can sometimes arrange alternative offload so please call us to discuss. Due to our offload method a kerbside delivery is all we can guarantee and drivers often won’t try to get the stone onto your drive in case they cause damage. Tarmac drives in the heat are often a problem.

ROUTE TO YOUR PROPERTY

If your property has any restricted access, please let us know this during checkout, by filing in the special delivery instructions box. This does not just mean your drive or directly outside your house, please ensure the road approaching your property is also suitable for a large 26t truck with a tail lift at the rear. Please make sure that the route to your chosen delivery address has no weight restrictions, is free from low hanging branches or obstacles (including parked cars), which may cause damage to, or obstruct delivery vehicles. Please note charges may be incurred if delivery is attempted but you have unsuitable access. If in doubt please call our sales team for advice on 01726-71198.

SIZE OF VEHICLE

Delivery will be made on a large 26 tonne truck, approximately 13m long including the tail lift, 2.8m wide and 4m high. A smaller delivery vehicle can be requested but this must be discussed with our sales team before an order is placed. Delivery using a smaller truck will mean that the products will be sent to a pallet hub as close to you as possible and then transferred to the smaller truck for the last part of the journey. These arrangements may incur a delay in delivery.

VEHICLE OFFLOAD

The driver will unload using a tail-lift offload and manual pallet truck to push or pull the goods into position. The pallet truck can only be operated on a flat, level and solid surface which is free from grass or gravel as the small wheels on the pallet truck stop dead if an attempt is made to pull them over a rough surface or gravel. The driver will be unable to push or pull the goods up any sort of incline or pull the pallet truck over uneven ground. It is up to the driver where your goods are left. They may refuse to make delivery onto a drive if they are worried about causing damage to it with the wheels of the pallet truck and delivery vehicles are not insured to enter your premises. Drivers will sometimes leave the goods kerbside if you are there to witness it and only with your permission. If the driver considers your access unsuitable for whatever reason they are within their rights to refuse to unload the pallet or to leave it as near as possible to the required destination with your agreement.

WEIGHT OF GOODS

Our bulk bags weigh approximately 850kgs which is just under a tonne. Our pallets of 4m2 walling are approximately 1000kgs which is a tonne. As the driver has to manually push or pull the pallet into position, they will struggle to do this if the ground isn’t flat and solid.

RECEIPT OF GOODS

All deliveries must be signed for on arrival. Please make sure that either you or a nominated third party are available to receive the order and to sign for the materials. If you make arrangement for a third party to take delivery we request that you let us know in advance and that you are available by phone in case of issues arising with your delivery. Should you see any damage with your delivery on arrival you must sign noting as 'damaged' on the delivery document and then contact us by phone within 2 working days of the delivery date. A failed delivery, requiring a re-delivery will be charged to you at cost in line with our terms and conditions.
